LET'S GO!

my name is Coe Schneider,

my company is called Coesch, pronounced: co-esh. I started my pursuit of music when I saw the influence it could have on a life. In my younger years I saw a special on Garth Brooks and the attempts he made to make every person in his audience feel like the show was for them, when I started playing music myself it was music and lyrics that felt personal and like they had captured my own thoughts that drew me deeper into the process.

Bands like MxPx and Brand New, became my inspiration for songwriting. Thoughtful writing that not only captured the attention of the listener but got their wheels turning at the same time.

To develop my passion for the craft I turned to schooling, studying music theory, creative writing, audio production and philosophy in college. My take away from all of that was to keep moving forward. From punk, country, pop, classic rock, metal, folk, bluegrass, to gospel and blues, I’ve played and written in a variety of genre styles and enjoyed it all.

The beginning of 2017 I embarked on a new journey of traveling town to town doing One Day pop-up guitar stores. After buying my first custom guitar from a builder I came to realize there's a real need to connect the community of craft builders with the general public and the gap is bridged by the hands-on experience my One Day events provides. Check it out here!

I talk about it a lot in this podcast with

Retro Mechanical Labs Electron Fuzz Distortion Box

Retro Mechanic Labs was first brought to my attention by a friend who asked me “Hey, have you seen that company making pedals that look like they’re off a Russian submarine from WWII?” You can say my interest was peaked from that moment on. I began watching their website closely, scouring used sites for good deals, and searching for demos almost immediately. Admittedly it took some time to get my hands on one because I was nervous. These pedals look nice, like way nicer than any of my other gear, and I play my gear hard. After much hand wringing I pulled the trigger on a . My first foray into boutique gear. Read in Full

Electro-Harmonix

The Worm

Oh boy, this pedal really opens up a can for sure. I was on a search. I wanted something specific. Tremolo speed control with an expression pedal. The Worm! An affordable pedal with tremolo and expression control! Well with that feature I have to say I was a little disappointed to say the least.

The Worm by Electro-Harmonix is a multi effect unit from one of the industries greats, with so many “classic” “must have” units to their name. EHX has always been... Read in Full

Pigtronix Tremvelope Envelope Modulated Tremolo

Trem. Tremolo. Tremohlo. Tremeelo. Truhmuhlo. However you decide to pronounce it, picking the right one is a task. Just like most effects these days the options are endless. One knob? You can find it. But you want sixteen knobs?! It exists. I’ve been on a mission for months to find my perfect tremolo pedal and I think I may be close.

My demands were simple, for today’s pedal world anyhow, smooth to choppy, can do super fast or super slow, and expression control for speed. The TREMVELOPE has those features... Read in Full
